The popular local radio station set a challenge for presenter Jo Russell, who hosts the Jo Show to arrange a wedding in a week – an event most people would take a year or two to arrange.

Lucky couple Sean Austin and Mellissa Baker, who are both 23, and come from Telford and Tamworth, were chosen by BRMB, with absolutely everything from flowers to favours being planned in a week, ready for the big day which was on Monday February 15th. They made their wedding vows at Hogarths Hotel, Solihull in the wedding glade in eye shot of the kissing bridge.

Our show designers provided a display that was really special and the fireworks were kept as a surprise for the happy couple.

Sean, Melissa and their guests were overjoyed after the breathtaking finale as they both love fireworks which also brought tears of joy to Melissa's mother!
