Solihull Fireworks light up Stratford-upon-Avon |
|
Monday, 13 December 2010 |
|
Many thanks to the people of Stratford for warmly inviting us back again this year to help with the Christmas lights switch-on.
Lit up with a bang! ... "The switch-on of Stratford Christmas lights was marked with a spectacular fireworks display fired from the town hall's roof, much to the delight of the crowd, gathered in the High Street and the Cornmarket. After sleigh bells jingled, music played and a fireworks display wowed the crowd, Father Christmas appeared on the town hall's roof before coming down the chimney and greeting the crowd from the balchony.
The Children and parents then followed Father Christmas to his grotto in the minories. The public were also invited for seasonal refreshments in the ballroom" Stratford-upon-Avon Herald

The display brought a spectacular finale to the event which was kindly organised by Ethan's parents Gemma and Jonathon.

Dear Solihull Fireworks
I just wanted to take this opportunity to express our huge gratitude for the display that you did for us last Friday. It was nothing short of breathtaking. Dan was extremely professional, well mannered and very patient with us. The display itself was the best I have ever seen and had all our guests talking. I know you did a huge discount for us and we we're so happy that you could help our cause. As Ethan's 1st Birthday approaches we feel very pleased that this occasion was marked in such a special and public way. We managed to raise almost £3000 in total and so overall it was a very succesful evening. Many people have since said that fireworks now will always make them think of our little boy, we are so pleased that his memory still lives on in the hearts of our friends and family and your company have helped make this happen. Many thanks again and all the best for the future of your wonderful business. Gemma and Jonathan Woodward |
